Valentine Surprise!

Valentine's Day was never something I fussed over. It's my Mother's birthday. She would often baby sit so Grady and I could go eat a few times, but most of the V-Days we celebrated her. After all - the birthday was far more significant.

2018 was the first V-Day that she was not here for us to celebrate. Just another hard thing for me to accept and get through.

But my amazing husband surprised me with "Lena".
I had been wanting some puppy love for a while.

(yes, even with 3 kids and a 35lb shedding lovable Harley)

 He adopted her which made it even better.

There is no one else like my Mom...and there is no one else like my Grady.
I hit the jackpot getting to have those two in my life, and have received far more than I deserve from them.
